			Several of the most famous totem poles, including this portrayal of a boy with his hand caught in a clam, are in the village of Saxman, near Ketchikan. Others portray Abraham Lincoln and Secretary of State Seward. Here Tlingit and Haida carvers create modern totem poles based on traditional designs.
