			Liard Hot Springs is an amazing oasis in the boreal forest along the Alaska Highway. Two hot spring pools and a warm marsh provide relaxation for travellers and habitat for wildlife. Some plants found here, near the warmth of the springs, are native to the coast near Vancouver, 750 miles further south.
