Northern California - Yuba and Feather Rivers
			Graniteville is a quiet village straggling along the top of the San Juan Ridge between the forks of the Yuba River. The slopes below were destructively mined with hydraulic jets, and timber for the flumes was cut on the ridge, but time has healed over most of these scars on the landscape.
