Northern California - Lake Tahoe and the Northern Sierra
			Lake Tahoe could have been a great national park. But it didn't happen that way, and most of the shoreline is in private hands, and heavily developed. There are highrise casinos on the Nevada side, and an almost continuous line of vacation houses along much of the rest of its perimeter. Almost every house has its own private dock.
