Northern California - Marin County
			The traingular Point Reyes Peninsula narrows gradually on the north to the very acute Tomales Point. A trail leads north through the tule elk reserve (elk sightings almost guaranteed) for several miles until it runs out of land. The yellow lupines are a springtime glory.
