You've Waited for Years . . . . Now it's Finally Here!!!!

Tim's Poetry

The Old Lady

I see the red in her eye
and I suddenly started to cry
and I don't know why
My head did slip into a dream
all the while so young
yet so old was how I seemed

A new place I seemed to be
Reminding me of ages old
A new eye opened to see
So much of these things untold

And again and again I find myself there
where that woman gave to care

Travelling . . .

Riding down this dusty highway I came across this place
Had no edges, no dimensions, no bounds
across I did fly in this strangest of skies
this way that way hither and yon
like no tomorrow would ever show her pink dawn
and now I stand here withered and torn
wind blowing dust through my hair
feet planted firmly on the ground

I caught you looking happy

I caught you looking happy
			smiling in thought
I caught you looking happy
			smiling in the night
I caught you looking happy
			such a wonderful sight

The ancient whore

Musics been the only woman 'round here
So lonely so long I hold her so desr
The oldest lady I've e'r known
thrills me and chills me to the bone
ancient whore won't you come evermore
A silver thread to be followed divine
Lady love won't you come one more time
Musics been the only woman round here
So much love I hold her so dear

The Question

Someone asked me a question today
hope was all that I could really say
This that I pass to you
right from my heart it grew
That it will lead to a brighter day
blind faith to know the right way
I heard it somewhere in a another song
a man singing, swinging along
a lady with a fan shooing the breeze away
sometimes it fades into the mottled grey
sometimes it shines so sparkling bright
and yours? . . .
			. . . . in the end it's allright

							all my words are through
							the 'listening's' up to you.

Death

Death like life ponders and dances
Unbounded with earthly delight
Stop and wait for a while
Phantasmagoria of sound and light

An animal perhaps a god
Wandering ways of its own
From the earth and back home
Shining on this eve tonight

Motion curves from her grown
Patterns like leaves thrown
Fierce beauty, blackened bone
Quickly, quietly, grace in flight

Death like life ponders and dances
Unbounded with earthly delight
She comes to get me now
Realizing there's no time to fight

Home

No place to call home
a city gypsy on the roam
a candle, a hammock, a crystal stone
a thought of you brings me back,
Brings me back home

King for a day
It's nice that way
Stepping from the throne
giving up being alone
dust in the air
cool moisture up there
the rain falls to lead me back
to lead me back home

A home they say
Is where the buffalo roam,
A place where the deer and antelope play
A home in the hood, city grey
with cellular phone and ties to the bone

Heard it said
It's all the same day
and to make it clear
the place is all the same way

Something tells me I've been here before,
Like the voice that sings from alamor
A ritual known from before

	the fall
post goldrush high to beat them all

All the fussin'n'fightin' done long before my time
And I know its there deep inside
Ain't no matter now as the eyes close and dreams come alive
The milky night has set itself and the moon is yet to show
It is here that I talk one on one,
The fearsome majesty that is my home
